SSC GD Vacancy 2024-25

The total number of vacancies for the SSC GD Constable 2024 exam has been released along with the SSC GD Notification pdf on 5th September 2024. This year, 39481 vacancies have been released for BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, SSF, and NCB forces. SSC GD Age Limit

The age of the candidate must be 18-23 years as on 01-01-2025 (i.e., candidates born not before 02-01-2002 and not later than 01-01-2007). Permissible relaxations in upper age limit for different categories are as under:

SSC GD Educational Qualification

SSC GD Pay Scale

The candidates must have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University as on or before the cut-off date i.e., 01-01-2025.

Pay Level -1 (Rs 18,000 to 56,900) for the post of Sepoy in NCB and Pay Level – 3 (₹21,700/- to ₹ 69,100/-) for all other posts.

SSC GD Constable  Selection Process

The entire recruitment process of SSC GD 2024 will be completed in four stages: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and at the last the Medical Test. The candidates will be shortlisted for SSC GD Constable posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. through the following stages- Stage 1- Written examination (Computer Based) Stage 2- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Stage 3- Physical Standard Test (PST) Stage 4- Medical Test After the medical test, the candidates shortlisted will have to appear for document verification.

 Computer-Based Examination

Exam Duration: 60 minutes. The Computer-Based Examination will consist of one Objective Type Paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each with the following composition: -

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

 Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The candidates will be examined for physical standards including Height and Chest (only males). Only the candidates who meet the requirements will be called for a medical examination. The physical standards required has been discussed below.
